China Railway Baoji Bridge Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as CRBBG), a backbone member of China Railway Group Limited of the Fortune Global 500, is a large state-owned enterprise specialized in fabricating steel bridges, steel structures, railway turnouts, urban rail transit facilities and heavy lifting appliance in China, which is granted as National High-Tech Enterprise and National Enterprise Technology Center, Level II Safety Production Standardization Enterprise, the first group of National Enterprises with Access to Foundry Industry, and is the greatest railway turnout development enterprise in China. CRBBG owns 11 member enterprises that are distributed in the central and western region, Yangtze River delta area and Pearl River delta area in China. The annual production capacity are 400,000 tons of steel structures, 10,000 sets of railway turnouts, 20,000 pieces of high manganese steel & alloy steel crossings and 50 sets of lifting appliances. The research & development technology and the production scale take a leading position in China, and the technological equipment and product quality have reached the international advanced level. The main products are widely used in the fields of railroad, highway, building, metallurgy, hydropower and coal mining, and also exported to North America, South America, European Union, Africa, West Asia and Southeast Asia.

CRBBG has been heavily involved in the construction of state-key projects and the research & development of national new products for years. The main products have won more than 60 items of international and national awards. In which, China’s first set of 250km/h PDL turnout and 350km/h high speed turnout and heavy haul turnout are all born here and have gained more than 200 of national patent authorizations; the fabrication technologies of steel bridges take the initiative in many domestic key projects, more than 30 projects have won National Gold Award for High Quality Projects and Luban Award for Construction Projects, and 8 projects have won Gustav Lindenthal Medal, George S. Richardson Medal and FIDIC Excellent Project Award; and the self-developed high speed and medium-low speed maglev turnout for urban rail transit have filled in many blanks in China.
