On November 2, 2006, the signing ceremony, for the contract on fabrication of steel box girders for Jinan Yellow River Bridge on Qingdao-Yinchuan Expressway, was grandly held at Baolin Building in Jinan, Shandong.

Jinan Yellow River Bridge, located at the north of Jinan city, Shandong province, is a super bridge over Yellow River on Jinan north ring expressway，which is an important part of Qingdao-Yinchuan Expressway, a section of the main line of national road. The Bridge is also one of the key projects in Shandong Section of Beijing-Shanghai Expressway.

With a total length of the bridge 4,473.03 meters, it is a single-tower double-cable-plane semifloating cable-stayed continuous steel box girder bridge, with four spans as 60+60+160+386 meters. The total length of steel box girders is 666 meters, dividing into 46 segments. The length of a standard segment is 15 meters and the weight 297 tons, and the maximum lifting weight is 352 tons. The Q345D steel is used for main structures and Q235A or Q235C steel for auxiliary structures. The total weight of steel box girders and auxiliaries is approximately 15,000 tons.
