The 60kg/m 1:12 fixed high manganese steel frog and check rail manufactured by CRBBG successfully passed the expert review organized by Transportation Bureau of China Railway Corporation on March 16. Leaders and experts from Beijing/Jinan/Wuhan/Xi'an Railway Administration, China Academy of Railway Sciences, China Railway Engineering Design Consulting Group, China Railway Shanhaiguan Bridge Group, China Railway Construction Heavy Industry and CNR (Beijing) Railway Equipment, were present at the review meeting.

The experts inspected the trial-manufactured and -assembled frog and check rail in the factory, and listened to the trial manufacturing and assembly report made by CRBBG as well as the test report made by the expert testing group. The experts came to an agreement after serious discussion that the technical data submitted by CRBBG were complete and detailed and conformed to the review requirements, thus the product passed the review.

The fixed frog is mainly made of high manganese steel, and has the advantages of high wearing resistance, strong impact resistance, long service life and less maintenance work. It is widely used in the construction of main railway lines for not only improving the safety of running but also greatly increasing the traffic volume.
