Recently the technical plan and test for "The forged high manganese steel point rail assembled frog for heavy haul railway" made by CRBBG passed the review organized by China Railway Corporation and could be laid on track for the track test.

The high manganese steel has the advantages such as high ductility, high bearing hardenability and high abradability. The casting flaws of high manganese steel can be eliminated with the forging method, which can efficiently improve the service life and overload volume of the frog product for heavy haul railway.
