The appraisal meeting for CRBBG developed new products for medium-low speed maglev transit system including simple turnout, 3-way turnout and rotation track, was held by Baoji Industry and Information Technology Bureau in CRBBG on August 28. Beijing Holding Maglev Technology Development Co., Ltd, Shenzhen Metro Group Co., Ltd, National University of Defense Technology, Tongji University, Hunan Maglev Transit Development Incorporated Company and Beijing Urban Engineering Design & Research Institute attended the meeting.

By production facilities inspection, documentation review and serious discussion, the expert group came to an agreement that CRBBG submitted documents were complete, detailed and conformed to the requirements for appraisal of the new products; thus the simple turnout, 3-way turnout and rotation track for medium-low speed maglev transit system passed the appraisal.

The experts introduced that the three new products possessed 4 patents including free end of switch beam, locking system, bogie and medium hinged shaft; the trial assembly of prototype and the test run were in good condition and the products had passed the endurance test of 100,000 cycles for non-failure operation; and they filled in gaps in domestic products and had reached international advanced level.
