CRBBG developed joint turnouts for the extension section of Chongqing rail transit Line 2 passed the ex-factory inspection on August 29.

The inspection group, composed of experts from Chongqing Rail Transit Group Co., Ltd and Chongqing Rail Transit Design & Research Institute, considered that CRBBG optimized the turnout design and advanced the manufacturing techniques, which greatly improved the turnout quality; the manufactured turnouts had smooth running, quality welds and appearance, and less noise; the functions completely met the requirements in the Contract and Technical Specifications; thus they were approved to leave the factory.

CRBBG constantly enhances its research and development of urban rail products in recent years and many hi-tech products have filled in gaps in China. The approximate 30 sets of straddle three-way and five-way joint turnouts and over 1000 sets of cast-steel support for precast beams, manufactured by CRBBG for Chongqing urban rail market, have become the hit products in Chongqing rail transit market for their rational design, high quality, safe operation and high cost performance.
