CRBBG officially won the bid of contract for fabrication of steel girders for Section HTQ-1 of Hutong Yangtze River Bridge recently. The total weight of the bridge is about 50,000 tons.

As the control project of Hutong (Shanghai-Nantong) railways, Hutong Yangtze River Bridge is located at 45km of lower reaches of Jiangyin Yangtze River Bridge and 40km of upper reaches of Sutong Yangtze River Bridge. It is the shared passage for Tongsujia (Nantong-Suzhou-Jiaxing) intercity railways and Xitong (Wuxi-Nantong) expressway. The bridge has an overall length of 11km, four-line railway and six-lane highway, which will be the combined cable-stayed bridge with the greatest span in the world at the completion.
