A dream comes true after more than 4 years expectation! At twelve o'clock midnight today, with the vehicle streaming to the bridge and crossing Yangtze River, the Dongshuimen Yangtze River Bridge, connecting Yuzhong district and Nan'an district, was officially open to traffic. The distance from Shangxin Street to Jiefangbei is therefore shortened for at least 20 minutes.

The Dongshuimen Bridge is located in Chongqing city and connects Yuzhong district and Nan'an district. The bridge is designed as urban secondary main road with speed of 40km/h for the highway and 60km/h for the track. It is a cable-stayed truss girder bridge, with main span of 520m, deck width of 21m and overall length of 1,000m.
