On October 22, China Railway Corporation Sci-Tech Management Department and Transportation Bureau held the review meeting for the 75kg/m rail No.18 single turnout on trial for 30 tons axle load at Baoji. Experts and representatives from Southwest Jiaotong University, Jinluyu Railway Passage Corporation, China Railway Materials Commercial Corp., China Railway Third Survey & Design Institute Group, China Railway Fourth Survey & Design Institute Group, Beijing Railways Bureau, Taiyuan Railways Bureau, Hohehot Railways Bureau, Chengdu Xixin Concrete Co., Ltd, China Railway Fangshan Bridge Co., Ltd, CNR (Beijing) Railway Equipment Co., Ltd, China Railway Engineering Design Consulting Group, China Railway Signal & Communication Corp., Taiyuan Electrical Equipment Plant, Beijing Teye Industrial and Trade Corp., China Railway Construction Heavy Industry Co., Ltd and CRBBG, attended the meeting. CRBBG Chairman of the Board Huang Zhenyu and Deputy General Manager Dong Yanlu were present at the meeting.

At the meeting, the experts and representatives attentively listened to the trial manufacturing laying and testing report made by the research group as well as the test report made by the expert group, and inspected the shop-laid turnout. They came to an agreement that with CRBBG's proper and advanced manufacturing process and strict quality control, the turnout was approved to be laid on track for test run. CRBBG leader addressed that the company would seriously consider the comments and suggestions proposed by the experts and leaders and put them into effect, and keep on with product quality control so as to supply quality turnouts to the customer.

The successful development of this turnout fills in gaps in the 75-18 heavy haul single turnout for 30 tons axle load in China.
