The result of choosing and review activity for "Centenary Top 100 Outstanding Civil Engineering Projects", organized and spread by China Civil Engineering Society and Beijing Zhantianyou Civil Engineering Sci-Tech Development Foundation, in the field of civil engineering construction all over China, was published recently, three bridges fabricated by CRBBG were chosen to be in it.

In the "Centenary Top 100 Outstanding Civil Engineering Projects", three among twenty-two bridges were fabricated by CRBBG, respectively Nanjing 2nd Yangtze River Bridge and Wuhu Yangtze River Bridge completed in 2000, and Chongqing Chaotianmen Bridge completed in 2009.

The proposed projects for this appraisement are required to be the large civil works self-constructed and completed in land of China by Chinese engineers and technicians during the year of 1900 to 2010, which have higher social reputation and influence and have significant effect in the field of civil engineering. These three bridges chosen showed the solid strength of CRBBG in bridge construction filed and the outstanding contribution to the great development of state transport undertakings.

It is reported that the "Centenary Top 100 Outstanding Civil Engineering Projects" aims at celebrating the centennial of China Civil Engineering Society, commemorating the 150th anniversary of Dr. Zhan Tianyou's birth, carrying on and forward Chinese civil constructors' spirit of patriotism, innovation, self-dependence and striving in difficulties, and showing China's achievements in civil engineering construction.
