Recently, the technological research and development program project "Optimized and Improved Design of 60kg/m Rail 1:12 Simple Turnout in Complex Climatic Environment" jointly undertaken by CRBBG and the Track Division of Qinghai-Tibet Group Company successfully passed the final acceptance in Xining.

At the meeting, CRBBG reported the research process and contents of the project to the experts, and submitted the acceptance report and related documents. After reviewing and discussion by the experts, the experts considered that the documents submitted were complete and informative, and all the research tasks of the project were successfully completed, and the results of the research were fully affirmed and highly praised. Therefore, they unanimously agreed that the project passed the final acceptance, and the comprehensive evaluation of the acceptance review was A-level.

The project " Optimized and Improved Design of 60kg/m Rail 1:12 Simple Turnout in Complex Climatic Environment" was initiated in March 2017, in which, CRBBG was responsible for the design, trial production and on-track observation and test of turnouts. After more than two years' efforts, the scheme design review, shop drawing design, trial-manufacture and trial laying of new turnout and on-track observation were successively completed. The research and development of this project has laid a foundation for the research and development of railway turnouts in complex and extreme climatic environment.
