The Jijiang Yangtze River Bridge in Jiangjin District, Chongqing, participated by CRBBG, was completed and open to traffic on July 8, which start the new page of "City-wide development of both sides of the river" in Jiangjin District.

Jijiang Yangtze River Bridge is the key project of Chongqing, starting from east entrance of Binjiang Road of Jijiang Street in Jiangjin District in the south and to Xuxikou in Binjiang New City in the north. It is a double cable plane suspension bridge with overall length of 1,897m, main span of 600m, bridge deck of 33m wide, and two-way six-lane, which is the third Yangtze River bridge in Jiangjin District. CRBBG had undertaken fabrication of 6,300 tons of steel box girder in the construction of this bridge.

The completion and operation of Jijiang Yangtze River Bridge realize connection between old city of Jijiang island and Binjiang New City even Shuangfu New District, and make city construction of Jiangjin truly enter into the era of "City-wide development of both sides of the river". It is of great significance for Chongqing city to expand new space for urban development, perfect urban traffic network and facilitate people's work and life.
