CRBBG Participated Two Bridges Win Li Chun Award - China Highway Construction Top Award
The award ceremony for 2014-2015 Highway Transportation Quality Project (Li Chun) Award, China's top quality award for highway construction, and the summit forum for "Carrying forward spirit of craftsman and create quality projects", were held in Beijing on June 19. At the forum, CRBBG participated Xihoumen Bridge and Jintang Bridge in Zhoushan Mainland and Islands Link Project both won this award.
The Highway Transportation Quality Project (Li Chun) Award is evolved from the Highway Project Three-Excellence Award (excellent survey, excellent design and excellent project) set up by the Ministry of Transportation in 1997, which is China's top quality award for highway construction as well as the top award for highway constructers. The winning projects this time are the first batch to be awarded after the issuance and execution of Selection Method of Highway Transportation Quality Projects revision 2012, which represent China's top level in highway transportation industry on the aspects of construction management concept, project construction quality, technical innovation achievement, and management and maintenance operation.
It is known that in recent years, CRBBG fabricated Xihoumen Bridge has successively won several awards in bridge industry at home and abroad, such as National First Prize for Excellent Welding Engineering, Gustav Lindenthal Medal, FIDIC 2015 Excellent Engineering Project Award, National Construction Engineering Luban Award and State Science and Technology Award.
Named after Li Chun, a bridge craftsman in Sui Dynasty, Li Chun Award is the top quality award for highway construction in China. Li Chun had ever built the world-famous Zhaozhou Bridge, which created a new situation for China's bridge construction and made great contribution to the development of bride technology in China.
