The preparation meeting and signing ceremony for fabrication of five-span channel railway steel bridge in North America was held in Yangzhou Company on June 15. Hong Jun, CRBBG's Secretary of Party Committee, and Sun Junling, Board Chairman of Hanyang (International) Engineering Consulting Company, signed the Strategic Cooperation Framework Agreement, which indicated that CRBBG had officially signed the contract for fabrication of the five-span channel railwal steel bridge in North America and achieved the zero breakthrough for its steel bridge product marching into American market. Kalak Hope, Vice President of Alaska Railway Bureau, was present at the ceremony.

During staying in Yangzhou Company, Mr. Hope and his group visited and reviewed the steel warehouse, blanking workshop and 5,000t dock, made an audit to the execution of quality management system, and gave consistent praise to the advanced management concept and orderly fabrication procedure of the company. At the same time, they made deep communication and discussion mainly on the preparation of technology, personnel, quality, equipment and information for the steel bridge project in North America and came to an agreement, which had laid a solid foundation for the start of the following project.

The five-span channel railway steel bridge in North America adopts steel plate girder structure and sets one-way railway line. The bridge is composed of 5 spans with each span of 38.1m long. The overall length of the bridge is 190.5m. It is known that this project is the first case contracted by CRBBG in American steel bridge market as well as the company's great achievement for actualizing the "Going Out" strategy.
