Suzhou Rail Transit Group hosted the acceptance review meeting for Suzhou metro turnout in China Railway Track Equipment Co., Ltd (CRTE) in Nanjing on May 8. The 60kg/m No.4.5 symmetrical turnout for Suzhou urban rail transit system, trial manufactured and assemblied by CRTE, passed the review for acceptance and was allowed to be put into batch production.

This turnout was manufactured by CRTE with the adoption of curved high manganese steel frog for the first time, and a combined adjustment of mechanism and electricity was carried out for shop assembly, which was of great difficulty in assembly and of high technical requirement. The expert group gave a good appraisal to the trial manufacturing and assembly of the turnout.
