The mock-up of steel box girder for Yunnan Longjiang Grand Bridge passed the review on March 17, which indicated that the batch production of steel box girders for the bridge started.

Spanning the valley of Longchuan River in Baoshan city, Yunnan province, Yunnan Longjiang Grand Bridge is the key control project for Baoshan-Myitkyina (Myanmar) expressway, with two-way four-lane. It is a double tower single span steel box girder suspension bridge. There is a distance of 280m from the bridge deck to the river surface and of 470m from the top of the highest tower to the river surface. The length of main span is 1,196m. It will be the greatest suspension bridge in the mountain area in Asia when it is completed.
