The Welding Procedure Qualification (WPQ) of steel anchor beams & Fabrication and Acceptance Rules of steel girders for Wangdong Yangtze River Highway Bridge passed the review at Yangzhou recently.

Located between Wangjiang County and Dongzhi County, Wangdong Yangtze River Bridge (Highway) connects Anqing city in the north and Chizhou city in the south. The bridge is at 105km from Jiujiang Yangtze River Bridge in the upper reaches and 65km from Anqing Yangtze River Bridge in the lower reaches. It is the first Yangtze River bridge in the upper reaches of Wanjiang River.

Yangzhou company made thoughtful arrangement and active preparation when received the assignment of fabrication of 17,000 tons of steels for the bridge. This review will lay a good foundation for the fabrication and installation of the bridge.
