The 2014 National Excellent Welding Engineering Award organized by China Association of Engineering Construction Welding was announced recently. The steel box girders for Taizhou Yangtze River Highway Bridge, constructed by CRBBG, was awarded National First Prize for Excellent Welding Engineering, which was another award for the bridge after The Supreme Award for Structural Engineering Excellence in 2013 and The Outstanding Structural Engineering Award in 2014.

CRBBG undertook the fabrication of 12,000 tons of steel towers and 18,000 tons of steel box girders in the construction of Taizhou Yangtze River Bridge. The contract price was about 470 million yuan totally. In which, the middle tower with a height of 192m and a weight of 12,000 tons was worthy of the name "China's First Heavy Tower".

The continuous awards for Taizhou Yangtze River Bridge show CRBBG's top-ranking fabrication level of bridges and consolidate CRBBG's status as the lead in bridge construction, which will certainly bring positive and far-reaching influence to CRBBG to make its steel bridge and steel structure industry big and strong.
