After two-month tense construction, the first round of general assembly of steel box girders for Tiexin Bridge, fabricated by Yangzhou company, was inspected and accpeted on July 15.

Located at Ningdan Road, Yuhuatai District, Nanjing, within the area of main traffic arteries and spanning new Qinhuai River, the newly-built Tiexin Bridge is the important passage connecting the main urban area of Nanjing and the south new city zone, as well as the longitudinal development axis of China (Nanjing) Software Valley. The completion of the bridge will greatly ease the highway traffic pressure of Nanjing and better service the development of China (Nanjing) Software Valley.

The bridge has an overall length of 150m and width of 25m, including east and west part. The first round of general assembly is for L1-L5 and L6-L10 segments of the left part. Shop fabrication for the bridge is anticipated to be completed by September.
