On April 17, the 60kg/m 1:9 simple turnout (CZ2672) for Qingdao metro, manufactured and assembled by China Railway Track Equipment Co., Ltd (CRTE), successfully passed the acceptance review conducted by the design, construction and supervision units, and was permitted for batch production.

This turnout product will be used on Qingdao's first metro line which is under construction, thus it attracts high attention of the design, construction and supervision units of Qingdao metro. An expert group is set up with representatives from China Railway First Group Qingdao Metro Project Office, Qingdao Metro Group Engineering Construction Branch, Beijing Urban Construction Institute, Beijing China Railway Chengye Construction Project Supervision Co., Ltd, to perform inspection and acceptance for the turnout manufactured and assembled by CRTE.

At the review meeting, the expert group listened to the shop manufacture and assembly report as well as the test report of the product. And accompanied by CRTE General Manager Lin Junke, they visited the production field and learned about the technological level and processing capability of CRTE. On the trial assembly site, the expert group checked the assembled turnout, and all checkpoints conformed to relevant technical specifications.

At the final meeting, the experts came to an agreement after serious discussion that during the trial manufacture of this set of turnout, CRTE provided technical materials were complete and in accordance with the acceptance requirements; advanced equipment and proper processes were used for the production; and the product conformed to the design requirement, thus the trial manufacture and assembly of the turnout were approved to pass the acceptance review.
