Hainan Yangpu Bay Bridge, jointly constructed by CRBBG, was closed on January 9, 2014. Executive Vice Mayor of Danzhou, Hainan Tie Gang, and Director of Yangpu Economic Development Zone Administration Committee Ni Qiang, were present at the ceremony and made speeches. They set a high value on CRBBG's completion of fabrication and erection of steel girders for Hainan Yangpu Bridge with guarantee of quality, quantities and schedule. CRBBG's Secretary of Party Committee Hong Jun attented the closing ceremony.
Yangpu Bridge is a bay bridge with the greatest difficulty in construction and the highest technical standard at present in Hainan province, as well as the second cable stayed bridge in Hainan participated by CRBBG after Wenchang Qinglan Bridge. It is a cable stayed composite girder bridge with double tower and double cable plane, and the span of main bridge is 820 meters, overall length of steel girders 447 meters and total weight about 4,977 tons. The fabrication of the bridge started from August 2012 at Shantou facilities, and all staff and workers for the project united and made elaborate work, overcame the effect of severe weather such as thunder storm, strong typhoon and sustained high temperature to the construction, took actions and optimized processes to ensure the construction period, quality and safety for each panel point of the bridge.
The successful closure of Hainan Yangpu Bridge has built up a good image of CRBBG in Hainan market, which is of great significance for CRBBG to promote its steel structure products in Hainan.
