On February 2, along with the completion of lifting and erection of the last segment of steel box girder, the suspension bridge of left part of Maanshan Yangtze River Highway Bridge, participated by CRBBG, was successfully closed. Anhui High Speed Holding Group Chairman of the Board Zhou Renqiang, and CRBBG General Manager Li Zongmin were present at the closure ceremony.

Maanshan Yangtze River Bridge spans Jiangxinzhou Island, to the east of which is main bridge over right branch and to the west is main bridge over left branch. The left bridge is 2x1,080 meters three-tower two-span suspension bridge, which takes the first in the same kind of bridges in the world. The right bridge is 2x260 meters three-tower cable stayed bridge, which is the first three-arched-tower cable stayed bridge in China. In this grand project, CRBBG undertakes the fabrication of 6,500 tons for middle steel tower and 32,000 tons for steel box girders. On February 18, 2012, under the great efforts of all staff in Yangzhou Company, the steel tower of Maanshan Yangtze River Highway Bridge, with a height of 175.8 meters and reflecting local characteristics of Anhui province, was successfully completed. Particularly the one-time acceptance rate for the tightening of 280,000 sets of high strength bolts at later stage was up to 100%, which created a "New Myth" in the field of steel tower fabrication for bridges in China.
