The Nanjing Dashengguan Yangtze River Bridge participated by CRBBG was officially open to traffic on January 11, 2011.

As the passage over Yangtze River for Beijing-Shanghai high speed railway, Shanghai-Wuhan-Chongqing railway and Nanjing metro, this bridge is remarkable for its large scale, heavy load, large span and high speed, which just indicate the four-first of the bridge in the world. As the starting project in the whole line of Beijing-Shanghai high speed railway, the bridge has a full length of about 9.3 km and the main span of about 1.6 km.

In the construction of this world level bridge, CRBBG takes on the fabrication of steel girders of 23,100 ton for section B. By emphasizing technical innovation, controlling product quality and improving procedures, the bridge started in July 2007 and was successfully closed on September 28, 2009, which satisfactorily fulfilled the promise of CRBBG to this project.

The operation of Nanjing Dashengguan Yangtze River Bridge symbolizes the approach of open of Beijing-Shanghai high speed railway. In a few years in the future, the development of high speed railways in Yangtze River Delta will be networked, and the “high speed railway engine” for the mixing economic development all over China will be more powerful.
