Recently, along with a section of steel box girder weighing 153.4 tons being lifted 40m high by the windlass and put in the reserved place accurately, Yunnan Longjiang Grand Bridge, a suspension bridge with the longest span in the mountain area in Asia, participated by CRBBG, was successfully closed.

Longjiang Grand Bridge is an important control project of Baoshan-Tengchong Expressway. It is a double tower single span steel box girder suspension bridge with the main span of 1,196m. The brige deck is 33.5m wide. It is the greatest steel box girder suspension bridge in the mountain area in Asia. The bridge deck is 280m high from the valley bottom. The anti-seismic grade is IX and the budgetary investment of the project is 1,465.18 million yuan.

In the construction of Yunnan Longjiang Grand Bridge, CRBBG undertook shop fabrication and field erection of steel box girders, totally 97 segments and weighing 15,527 tons.
