The Bay Bridge project of No.16 Bridge in New Puwan District, Dalian formally launched in Yangzhou company on January 30.

It is reported that the bridge has an overall length of 2,585.8m and the total weight of steelwork is about 16,380 tons. The main bridge is a five-span 640m X-arch steel box girder bridge with the main span of 200m. The overall width of bridge deck is 41m and the width of main bridge is 48.6m. Two-way eight-lane.

The bridge will be a vital traffic line in New Puwan District when completed; meanwhile, the imposing arch bridge will be a beautiful landmark building of this area.
