It is reported by People's Daily Online that on February 10, along with the last segment of composite girder for Section CB05 of Hongkong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge (HZMB) being smoothly placed on the pier operated by the 3,000-ton Tianyi heavy pontoon, the Section CB05 of HZMB took the lead in completion for the whole section.

HZMB has an overall length of 55km, and the bridge and tunnel in the sea of the main project has a length of about 35.6km. In which, the Section CB05 has an overall length of 6.653km, including Jiuzhou navigation bridge, non-navigable span bridge, and the connection bridge between Zhuhai and Macao port and the artificial island.

CRBBG undertook the fabrication of nearly 40,000 tons of steel tower and steel girder for Section CB05, and had completed the production of all steel girders after more than two years' construction, which laid a good foundation for the smooth advancement of integral construction of the bridge.
