CRBBG participated Zhengzhou Yellow River Combined Bridge and Taizhou Yangtze River Highway Bridge for Beijing-Guangzhou high speed railways won FIDIC Excellent Engineering Award at the 2014 FIDIC Annual Meeting held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil recently, which again showed CRBBG's top-ranking engineering construction level.

The conference announced the list for 2014 FIDIC Excellent Engineering Project Award. There were 26 projects worldwide awarded, among which, China had 8 projects that accounted for 31 percent of the total, and the total number of the award took the first in the world for successive two years.

The International Federation of Consulting Engineers, commonly known as FIDIC, acronym for its French name, is an international organization founded in 1913 by the independent consulting engineers associations of five european countries in Ghent, Belgium. FIDIC is a global federation of consulting engineers with worldwide authority and recognized by the World Bank. FIDIC is well known in the consulting engineering industry for its work in defining Conditions of Contract for the Construction Industry worldwide. FIDIC publishes the MDB Harmonised Edition of the Construction Contract that is used by Multinational Development Banks including the World Bank for their projects.
