Under the extensive attention and active participation of netizens at home and abroad, the name of Nanjing Youth Olympic Culture & Sports Park Footbridge was officially announced to be "Nanjing Eyes" on June 3. It is reported that the bridge is anticipated to be completed by the end of June and officially open before the Youth Olympic Games this year.

Nanjing Youth Olympic Culture & Sports Park Footbridge, constructed by CRBBG's subsidiary company, Yangzhou company, is the first landscape footbridge over Yangtze River, which connects west riverbank and Jiangxinzhou islet. Steels used for the main bridge is about 9,400 tons. Since the start of manufacturing at the beginning of March, 2013, Yangzhou company was bold in innovation and carried out six construction innovations, such as the integral assembly technology for wind fairing of steel box girder and subsidiary fixtures for saw cutting of drain pipe of steel box girder, which guaranteed the overall accuracy of manufacturing of steel box girders as well as saved a lot of labours, materials and working time, and ensured that the towers and girders for the bridge were closed successively in the middle of December of 2013. Especially the large Olympic rings fabricated by Yangzhou company, 12.64m long, 6.92m high and 0.8m wide, completed by more than 50 workers in half a year, fully showed the master-hand of the workers with its excellent workmanship, fine appearance and accurate geometry, and were widely acclaimed by Nanjing municipal government and the citizens.

Nanjing Youth Olympic Culture & Sports Park Footbridge is the 5th "Steel Rainbow" fabricated by CRBBG in Nanjing after the participation of Nanjing 2nd, 3rd and 4th Yangtze River Bridge and Dashengguan Bridge.
