On September 24, CRBBG won the bid for fabrication of 14,326 tons of steel box girders for Longjiang Grand Bridge on Baoshan-Tengchong Expressway in Yunnan.

Longjiang Grand Bridge is the first super-long span suspended steel box girder bridge in Yunnan as well as the whole-line control project of Baoshan-Tengchong Expressway. The overall length of the bridge is 2,470.58 meters. Double tower and single span are designed for this bridge, and the overall height of the tower of main bridge is 169.688 meters at Baoshan bank, and 129.703 meters at Tengchong bank. The bridge deck is 280 meters from the river surface, and the highest tower is 470 meters from the river surface. Regarded as the largest expressway suspension bridge in Asia at present, the main span is 1,196 meters long, side span 320 meters long and bridge deck 31.5 meters wide, even 20 meters longer than Xiangxi Aizhai Bridge in Hunan, which has a main span of 1,176 meters and has been already completed and open to traffic.

Longjiang Grand Bridge is the key project of Baoshan-Tengchong Expressway. Due to its complicated technologies, the "Research on Key Technologies of Kilometer Long Span Suspension Bridge in Meizoseismal Mountain Area in Yunnan" during the bridge construction, has been listed one of the national sci-tech projects in western transport construction.
