Completed in 2000, this is a rail-cum-road (double-rack railway) cable-stayed steel truss bridge with integral joints and composite girders. The main span is 312m. The steel trusses are totally 2,193m long with total weight of about 37,000 tons. This bridge is called as Century Bridge, which is regarded as the milestone project in national bridge construction history.
